Naturally Illuminating -- The Science Behind Luminescence

Come celebrate the Year of Science by exploring the chemistry of luminescence. Observe experiments that demonstrate the difference between photoluminescence and chemoluminescence. Hunt through the Wagner Institute's historic collection for materials that do or did have luminescence and create crafts to remind you of what you've learned. The Institute will be open from 12-4 PM.
