Looking at next steps

What is next for our community??

The voice of science is strengthened as we join together in our efforts and we hope that this will continue. The organizers of COPUS are very proud to be a collaborating partner of the USA Science and Engineering Festival, and see this event as a tremendous opportunity to carry forward the great momentum we have built through the Year of Science 2009.

USA Science and Engineering Festival

USA Science and Engineering Festival The 2010 USA Science & Engineering Festival (USASEF) to be held in Washington, DC, in October 2010, provides a great opportunity for COPUS participants to continue our celebration and make the event truly national in scope. COPUS is partnering with USASEF to encourage our participants to organize Satellite Events in their own community. Whether you are a part of a student club, school, university, museum, science center, organization, or company, you have the opportunity to connect an event in your own community to the science celebration on the National Mall! The dates have been set for October 23rd and 24th. You can learn more about satellite events on the USA Festival Web site..
