How to submit your species name:

STEP 1: BE SURE YOU SPENT TIME GETTING FAMILIAR WITH BBBJ AND HOW SPECIES ARE NAMED.


Only names that follow the rules will be accepted.

STEP 2: COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION FORM BELOW.


Be sure to share with us the reasons for the name you are submitting. This information is an important part of the published scientific paper should your name win.

Teachers, if you do not want your students submitting their full name or contact information, please have them use their first name and your last name with title as follows "Mrs. Wilson-Teacher." We are happy to contact them through you!

STEP 3: HIT SUBMIT.


Check back between June 17th and June 21st to see if your name won and to vote on the top five. The winner will be contacted by the scientific team!
